Leigri.ee Redesign - From Outdated to Modern, Built by DuoCom
Transforming Tradition with Modern Design
The old Leigri.ee website had served its purpose for years - a simple presentation of craftsmanship and contact info. But as the brand grew, its digital presence lagged behind. The layout was outdated, slow to navigate, and didn’t reflect the quality of the company’s handcrafted wooden products.
DuoCom stepped in to create a modern redesign that keeps Leigri’s authenticity while introducing a polished, professional, and mobile-first user experience.
From Static to Dynamic
The old Leigri.ee site was traditional: plain backgrounds, limited visuals, and no structure for showcasing products.
The new site, now live at leigri.vercel.app, embraces a bold, full-width hero section with high-resolution workshop imagery, elegant typography, and clean spacing.
Navigation has been completely rethought - visitors can now easily browse through clearly defined service categories like Peenrakastid, Prügimajad, Saunad, and Terrassid. Each section uses modern cards, imagery, and smooth transitions for a premium browsing feel.
Design & Technology
The redesign was built using Next.js 15 and Tailwind CSS 4+, ensuring top performance, accessibility, and flexibility for future updates.
The new structure introduces consistent margins, responsive grids, and adaptive contrast to highlight both product photos and text content.
The old version relied heavily on static blocks; now, every element is modular and optimized for fast loading and SEO - reflecting DuoCom’s approach to functional design that performs.
Brand Colors and Tone
We preserved Leigri’s earthy aesthetic by using warm wood-inspired tones (#8C6B4F, #FFEAD7) throughout the interface.
This creates a sense of craftsmanship and reliability while giving the site a modern, balanced finish.
Typography now uses a clean sans-serif font with improved readability, contrasting sharply against the soft background overlays.
Accessibility & Mobile Optimization
The new site meets modern WCAG 2.2 principles - higher contrast, readable font sizing, keyboard-friendly menus, and responsive scaling for all screen sizes.
Mobile users experience faster loads, simplified menus, and touch-friendly navigation - a major upgrade from the static structure of the old site.
